Once Upon A Time!

  Hi!

I am Paulette (Polly) Berlin, French Canadian by birth. I grew up in Sainte Agathe des Monts, 70 miles north of Montreal, Quebec. Name: Paulette Chalifoux.

I always loved the change of seasons, the reflections on the lake and the delicate shades of flowers; I love the magic of colors.

My dream was to express myself as a romantic painter with a touch of the "old masters" using the medium of watercolor and oil.

I received an art degree from UNH and studied with prominent Artist.

1977 to 1997, under the name of Polly Mamone, I exhibited and sold my artwork in different shows all over New England. My paintings are found in private and corporate collections. I also have been featured in different Art Galleries and was member of select Art Associations.  I received many awards over the years. I enjoyed teaching art to adults and children.  

1997 -2008 I developed a career in real estate. 

2008 - Real Estate market is slowing down, time for me to shift gears, and paint again!

From October to end of April, I participate to art shows in Florida.
