Once Upon A Time!

Hi!

I am Paulette (Polly) Berlin, French Canadian by birth. I grew up in Sainte Agathe des Monts, 70 miles north of Montreal, Quebec. Name: Paulette Chalifoux.

I always loved the change of seasons, the reflection on the lake and the delicate shades of flowers; I love the magic of colors.

My dream was to express myself as a romantic painter with a touch of the "old masters" using the medium of watercolor and oil.

I received an art degree from UNH and studied with prominent Artist.

From 1977 to 1997, under the name of Polly Mamone, I exhibited and sold my artwork in different shows all over New England. My paintings are found in private and corporate collections. I also have been featured in different Art Galleries and was member of select Art Associations.  I received many awards over the years. I enjoyed teaching art to adults and children.  

Since 1997 I developed a career in real estate, and became the Broker/Owner of Lake Gallery Real Estate, located in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire, on the shores of Lake Winnisquam.  

Part of the office was the “Art Nook”, a Gallery featuring artwork of local artists and myself. 

August 2008: Real Estate market is slowing down and I am shifting gears!

I moved the office to my home and the "Art Nook" to my art studio. I am planning to be in Florida Mid-October to Mid-May this year and will eventually move to the Sunshine State.  I joined the "CAG" Creative Art Guild, Dunedin, Fl.
